Co-hosted by UBM Live and China Chamber of Commerce of Medicines & Health Products Importers & Exporters and co-organized by UBM Sinoexpo, CPhI, ICSE & BioPh China 2013 and P-MEC, InnoPack & LABWorld China 2013 were successfully held in SNIEC from June 25 to 27, 2013.
Data of the exhibition were at a historical record high. The exhibition covered an area of over 130,000 square meters, among which over 90,000 square meters for pharmaceutical ingredients and 40,000 square meters for pharmaceutical machinery, packaging materials and laboratory instruments; The exhibition attracted 2,456 exhibitors of 197 enterprises from 21 countries and regions, and the visitors during the three-day exhibition hit a high record of 44,984 including 11,894 oversea visitors from 143 countries and regions worldwide. CPhI China has great appeal for purchasers all over the world and holds a position of authority in domestic pharmaceutical industry, and it becomes a major annual event in this industry.
Organizers of the exhibition elaborately planed more than 180 meetings (including high-end forums, professional seminars and exhibitor forums) according to latest policies and regulations, hot topics in the industry, technology application, etc., which helped to meet the visitors’ needs for getting forefront information and also provided visitors and exhibitors with a great variety of communication approaches. In addition, the exhibition was creative because of the first session of InnoLAB Show in Bio-pharmaceuticals Hall. In the InnoLAB Show, the most advanced laboratory instruments and practical solutions were demonstrated by means of live actions, which were well received by both visitors and exhibitors. The exhibition directed Recruitment Activities for CPhI R&D Union to professional visitors in bio-pharmaceuticals field and more than 100 professional R&D personnel from pharmaceutical factories enrolled for it on site.
Besides, the 3rd Sourcing Fair organized by CPhI.cn was also successfully held in the exhibition. 61 purchasers came to make arrangements with the suppliers in 280 sourcing meetings and the sourcing success rate was nearly 90% during the three-day exhibition. This sourcing fair involved over 1100 products in more than 20 categories, such as APIs, extracts, biologics, pharmaceutical machinery, pharmaceutical packaging materials and medical consumables, etc.
In this exhibition, our company exchanged with some of the exhibitors and visitors and went into further negotiation with appropriate worldwide companies based on our own developing requirements. As a result, our international business was greatly promoted.
